2024 Harry Roberts Senior Scholar Winners
Dover, DE (May 15, 2024) The DIAA Board of Directors is pleased to announce the winners of the 2024 DIAA/Harry Roberts Senior Scholar Athlete awards. Megann Dombchik, Concord High School, a three sport student-athlete, national honor society member and member of 6 different clubs and Krish Shjpaul, Newark Charter Senior High School, a three sport student athlete, Model United Nations Outstanding Delegate, a Presidential scholar and an volunteer for the Therapeutic Riding and Ongoing Training program (TROT) have been named this year’s girls and boys first place recipients. Elizabeth Dill, Dover High School, Addison Kennedy, Newark Charter High School, Patrick Craig, Caesar Rodney High School and Samuel Felice, Salesianum High School were also named as recipients.

Port of Baltimore expansion project to add $1.5 billion to Maryland GDP
(WBFF) — An upcoming addition to the Port of Baltimore will generate 8000 new jobs and add $1.5 billion to Maryland's GDP, the groups behind the project said today. Tradepoint Atlantic and Terminal Investment Limited released the results of an economic impact study showing that the Sparrows Point Container Terminal is projected to hit those economic benchmarks by 2035.

BALTIMORE (WBFF) — A former Safe Streets employee was shot Sunday night blocks away from where he once worked, FOX45 News has confirmed.
