Green Harbor Golf Club

Green Harbor Golf Club is a family-owned and managed 18-hole public golf course that sports a challenging layout conveniently located between Cape Cod and Boston in Marshfield, Massachusetts.

The venue has long been known as an impressively maintained course that the whole family can enjoy and with standard rates starting at $40 its an affordable go around.

Beginner golfers appreciate the wide fairways at Green Harbor Golf Club, while the lower handicapper can find a challenge in the shot-making accuracy that is required to keep a score down; a testament to the degree of challenge is the standing course record of 67. Water hazards come into play on seven holes, and there are many bunkers and challenging pin placements on the course that are designed to keep this record intact.

Cold Spring Country Club

Cold Spring Country Club’s rich legacy and history extend back to 1919, when Otto Kahn commissioned Seth Raynor, the top golf architect of the day, to construct the golf course, which spans over 170 acres of rolling forested terrain.

The par-71 can play as a championship course from the back tees or as a beginner’s course from the family tees, with many levels and tees in between.

Cold Spring CC course is always maintained in impeccable condition and has some of the best and fastest greens on Long Island. One of the most admired qualities of the course is that no two holes are alike and all of the holes are replicas of courses Kahn played around the world. Due to the varied terrain and wooded nature each hole is separated from the other as the golf course winds around the castle.

Falmouth Country Club

Falmouth Country Club’s Osprey Course is the feature of a facility that also includes the 9 hole, par 37 “Talon” course.

Miacomet Golf Club

Nantucket Island’s only 18-hole public golf course. This links-style course is one mile from the seashore and three miles from town. The Nantucket Island Land Bank owns the course, which was named after a part of the island originally occupied by The Wampanoag Tribe, who called it “Miacomet” or “The Meeting Place”.

Howard Maurer, architect of Miacomet, expanded it to 18 holes in 2003. The same architect refurbished the original holes in 2008, making it one of the best-renovated courses in New England. The course has plenty of fairways and a variety of green sizes ranging from 3,000 to 6,000 square feet.

This layout is challenging yet very playable, with multiple tees that allow both professionals and amateurs equal opportunity for an enjoyable day on the links.

Templewood Golf Course

The views at Templewood of Mount Monadnock and the New England country side are breathtaking all year round but the course is a Fall treat.

Templewood is known for its laidback but respectful staff and the abundance of birdlife and other fauna that call the course and surrounds home.

Edgewood Golf Club

Anyone who can call Edgewood Country Club’s beautiful 18-hole public course located in Southwick, Massachusetts their home course is a lucky golfer indeed as it offers great enjoyment and value for money.

The woods and water serve as both backdrop and hazard but it plays fair even if there is quite a challenge to the layout from the tips.

The front nine experience is one of open rolling meadows that allow the player to loosen their arms a little and really open up but things tighten up on the back nine which is carved through the woods.
