Sounds of summer return at annual concert series
Summer is here, which means the annual concert series will return to Middleboro and Lakeville. A variety of styles of music will fill the air at the free weekly performances. Middleboro Friends will once again sponsor the summer concert series Thursdays at 6 p.m. at Town Hall lawn, weather permitting.

Lake Street Dive Plan On Being ‘Good Together’ At The Levitate Music & Arts Festival
As the music festival season rolls along, each weekend has something different to offer. Some of these extravaganzas focus on a specific style such as blues, punk, metal, jazz or folk, while others convey a wide-ranging palate to the senses. Happening at the historic Marshfield Fairgrounds on 140 Main Street in the South Shore town of Marshfield, Massachusetts, the Levitate Music & Arts Festival leans more towards the latter. From July 5-7, this year’s edition has a diverse lineup featuring Mt. Joy, Tash Sultana, Cory Wong, G. Love & Special Sauce, Neal Francis, The Hip Abduction, Karyna Rikeman, Lee Ross and the return of Sublime with Bradley Nowell’s son Jakob serving the role of singing and guitar playing. Another talented act taking part in the festival is Lake Street Dive, a spectacular soul-jazz act based in Brooklyn who are going to be headlining the second day at the Stoke Stage starting at 8:15pm.
