New BBQ restaurant to open in Gonzales on July 15, will offer, ribs, brisket, pork, chicken and more

GONZALES, La. (BRPROUD) — A new barbecue restaurant will be opening its doors in Gonzales this summer.

According to the Gonzales, Louisiana; Information Facebook page, Sonny’s BBQ is expected to open on Saturday, July 15.

The restaurant will cover over 4,900 square feet. Dine-in, takeout, delivery and catering will be available to its customers, according to the restaurant’s website .

Some of the signature options featured on Sonny’s BBQ menu include St. Louis ribs, pulled or sliced pork, beef brisket, half chicken, baby back ribs and pulled chicken. Their menu also features pitmaster picks, including Sonny’s sampler, pork three-way and pick-of-the-pit combo (two and three meats).

This will be the second location to open in Louisiana. The other is at 12475 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge.

The newest Sonny’s BBQ will be located in Heritage Crossing, 781 W. Louisiana 30, Gonzales.
