Goodhue County man killed in July 4th accident north of the Twin Cities
AITKIN, Minn. – A southeast Minnesota man was killed in a tree-climbing accident north of the Twin Cities. The Aitkin County Sheriff’s Office says it occurred on the 4th of July. Deputies say Henry M. Cannon, 27 of Red Wing, was celebrating the holiday with friends and climbed a large white pine tree in a yard on the shores of Gun Lake.
