Project CommUNITY: Hope Acts offers free English-language classes to new Mainers
The Portland non-profit, Hope Acts, has been recognized by the State for their hard work teaching English to New Mainers with the Governor’s Service Award. The Hope House English Language Program is a volunteer team of English teachers and tutors who contribute thousands of hours each year, helping asylum seekers and other new Mainers learn English.
