GOSHEN — A former Goshen school board member could serve one year on probation after pleading guilty to an election-related felony.

Jose Elizalde, 53, admitted to a Level 6 charge of filing a fraudulent report in court Wednesday. He would receive a one-year suspended jail sentence, to be served on probation, and work one weekend in the Community Oriented Work Program under the terms of the plea agreement he entered in Elkhart County Superior Court 3.
