Mosquitoes with West Nile virus found in 3 more Louisville zip codes, including downtown
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Mosquitoes carrying the West Nile virus have now been found in six Louisville zip codes this year. The Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness said in a news release Friday that the mosquitoes were found in the 40202, 40212 and 40215 zip codes. As a result, fogging will take place this week in downtown Louisville, the Portland neighborhood and the area around Churchill Downs.

These Jefferson County Clerk's Offices will be reopening Saturday
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Jefferson County Clerk's Offices were closed for the fourth straight day on Friday as the office worked to recover from a Russian ransomware attack. But WHAS11 News learned Friday afternoon that some of those offices will be reopening on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with limited availability, according to a Jefferson County Clerk's Office spokesperson.
Utica residents discuss options for 24/7 fire service

It comes as Clark County is considering adding a second ambulance service to help New Chapel EMS cover the county, while it struggles with staff shortages. New Chapel Fire and EMS currently has one fire contract remaining; to cover the Utica Township Fire Protection District.
