Big Stomp music festival promotes mental health awareness, resources in Louisville
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A music festival in Louisville is breaking down mental health stigmas with modern programming, education and awareness. The Big Stomp Music Festival was held on Friday and Saturday at Waterfront Park in downtown Louisville. The festival was created to destigmatize mental health and expand access to mental health resources. Organizers said it's the nation's first music festival to focus on mental health.

Suspect Arrested After Man Found Shot In Car
Hours after Louisville Metro police found a person shot inside a car in the Pleasure Ridge Park neighborhood, a man was arrested and charged with murder. Officers were originally called to a crash Friday in the 5800 block of Greenwood Road. They found a car crashed into a pole near Greenwood Elementary School with a man shot in the head inside, according to Louisville Metro Police. The man died by the time he arrived at UofL Hospital.

Mosquitoes with West Nile virus found in 3 more Louisville zip codes, including downtown
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Mosquitoes carrying the West Nile virus have now been found in six Louisville zip codes this year. The Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness said in a news release Friday that the mosquitoes were found in the 40202, 40212 and 40215 zip codes. As a result, fogging will take place this week in downtown Louisville, the Portland neighborhood and the area around Churchill Downs.
