    Man killed in Clermont County shooting on Monday night, police say

    A man is dead after a shooting Monday night in Goshen Township.

    The man's name and age have not been released.

    Police and emergency crews responded to the report of a shooting in the 1700 block of Ohio 28 at about 10 p.m., police said.

    First responders found an adult male with a gunshot wound. Though life-saving measures were taken, the man died, according to the Goshen Township Police Department.

    Police said a person of interest is in custody and the firearm involved in the incident has been recovered.

    The victim's identity will be released after his family has been notified, police said.
