The Lake Oswego Fire Department rescued a baby deer that had separated from its mother and fell more than 10 feet into a window well at a home under construction on Lund Street at around 9:25 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27. The city of Wilsonville held a groundbreaking ceremony for a mixed-use affordable housing development at the Wilsonville Transit Center on Monday, Aug. 26. Oregon City man identified as victim of fatal Oregon 18 wreck
A 64-year-old Oregon City man died in a two-vehicle collision that closed all lanes of Oregon 18 east of McMinnville for hours on Friday, authorities said Tuesday. Jeffrey Tapp was the passenger in a pickup that was traveling east when it crossed the center lane into oncoming traffic, McMinnville police said, based on witness statements and evidence at the scene.
