Brackets set for State Softball Tournament
(Fort Dodge) -- The field is set for the 2024 State Softball Tournament. In Class 1A, Martensdale-St. Marys is the top seed. They will face Edgewood-Colesburg Tuesday at 4:45 PM. Pride of Iowa Conference foes Wayne and Southeast Warren will face off against each other as the No. 2 and No. 7 seed, respectively. That game is Tuesday night at 7 PM.

The Le Mars Community softball team finished their season on Saturday at the hands of No. 6 Fort Dodge by a score of 11-1 in five innings.
