Barre senior’s residence catches fire, no injuries reported
BARRE — A fire broke out at the home of an 81-year-old resident early Thursday morning, with emergency services responding to the incident. At around 7:30 a.m., the Barre Fire Department was called to a structure fire at 113 Hill St. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered smoke and flames emanating from the garage area of Coralee Walters’ home.
