Experiencing the calm AFTER the storm today
Isolated showers will comb over our area over the next couple of hours with minimal impacts expected. Light fog may develop in some patches that saw excessive rain late last night and early this morning, but otherwise visibility remains clear. Expect sunnier conditions as the day goes on with highs in the low 80s late this afternoon. Lows bottom out in the mid 60s tonight with partly cloudy skies overhead. A cooling trend takes hold of Michiana over the next few days; highs are expected to barely reach the mid 70s on Thursday. Quiet weather sets in through the rest of the week as high pressure develops across the Midwest and Great Lakes.

Indiana Woman Charged with Reckless Homicide in Death of 10-Year-Old Son Arrested in Michigan
In a series of events bringing a tragic case one step closer to resolution, Jennifer Lee Wilson, a 48-year-old woman from northwest Indiana, has been arrested in connection with the reckless homicide of her 10-year-old son, Dakota Levi Stevens. NBC Chicago reports that Wilson was taken into custody on Saturday night by sheriff's deputies in Berrien County, Michigan. It is believed that the utilization of license plate reader technology was integral in tracking down Wilson's vehicle.
