Essentia Health-Grand Rapids Clinic welcomes family medicine specialist April Buescher

April Buescher, an advanced practice registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner specializing in family medicine and diabetes care, is thrilled to join the Essentia Health-Grand Rapids Clinic. She has worked in a variety of roles for Essentia since 2010.

“I chose to continue my career at Essentia because I have always felt respected, recognized and valued by leadership and my peers,” said Buescher. “Essentia has gone above and beyond to invest in me and my educational goals, which in turn allows me to provide the best patient-centered, evidence-based care to my patients. I also love the work/family balance that Essentia provides. Most importantly, I am excited to continue to care for the patients and community I serve.”

Buescher received her education from the University of North Dakota. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
