Nashwauk Area Community Fund Donates to N-K Art Department
NASHWAUK—The mission of the Nashwauk Keewatin High School (NKHS) Art Department is to foster student creativity and enhance critical thinking skills. By using a combination of group instruction alongside individual choice projects, students complete their artwork using innovative problem-solving strategies. Funds awarded will be used to purchase a ceramic baking kiln, two pottery wheels, two air brush kits, and 22 tabletop easels. The Nashwauk Area Community Fund is a community-based fund providing discretionary grants to projects and initiatives in the Nashwauk area to improve the quality of life for local citizens and provide a way for citizens and businesses to give to their local community.
