TIONESTA WOMAN CHARGED WITH NEGLECT OF ELDERLY DISABLED MOTHER
40 year old Shasta Dawn Vantassel from Tionesta has been charged with neglecting her elderly disabled mother, who was found dead in their home. ExploreClarion.Com is reporting that police discovered the mother seated in a recliner, indicating she hadn’t moved for weeks and was in poor condition. An autopsy confirmed death from Bilateral Acute Pneumonia. Vantassel, claiming she believed her mother was mobile, was charged with several offenses, including Neglect of a Care-Dependent Person, and released on $25,000 unsecured bail.
