Local museum offers bus trip to Fagen Fighters WWII Museum
The Codington County Heritage Museum is sponsoring a field trip to the Fagen Fighters WWII Museum in Granite Falls, Minn., on Saturday, August 17. The Fagen Fighters WWII Museum is a showcase of some of the most significant aircraft and ground equipment in World War II. According to its website, the museum is a tribute to the men and women of The Greatest Generation whose incredible sacrifices during that time shaped the freedom and liberty we enjoy today. The museum’s mission is to preserve the memory of the heroes of WWII, promote patriotism in today’s Americans, and inspire tomorrow’s leaders to study and apply history’s lessons.
