Man arrested with drugs, gun after running from traffic stop in Port Allen
PORT ALLEN - A man was arrested after running from a traffic stop and trying to hide inside a storage shed behind a Port Allen home. The West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office said 42-year-old Ihab Mustafa of Baton Rouge was driving recklessly near the intersection of Court Street and Lobdell Highway. Deputies said Mustafa had a handgun and drugs.

LAFOURCHE PARISH, La. — A drug investigation in Lafourche Parish led to the arrest of four accused meth dealers, according to the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office. Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre said those arrested and accused of dealing meth are Mitchell Folse, 45, Walter Nelson III, 42, Chad Brunet, 43, all from Lockport, and Darby Smith Jr., 21, of Larose.
