A Leitchfield man is facing an indictment accusing him of strangling a woman multiple times and endangering the welfare of her small child. Matthew S. Breeden, 25, was indicted by a Grayson County Grand Jury on first-degree strangulation (a class C felony), endangering the welfare of a minor, fleeing or evading police (on foot), resisting arrest, and second-degree persistent felony offender.

A Leitchfield woman allegedly under the influence of drugs has been arrested after a Grayson County deputy had to enter a pond to retrieve the female and a dog. On Friday night at approximately 11:15, Grayson County Deputy Thomas Lane and Sgt. Jordan Jones, the Leitchfield Fire Department and EMS responded to the 200 block of King Road when a woman, 54-year-old Donna G. Sisk, trespassed and entered a pond with a dog and refused to leave.
