VESTAL, N.Y. – The Binghamton swimming & diving teams sent their 21 seniors out in style, setting six pool records and sweeping Wagner in its annual Senior Day Meet on Saturday afternoon at the Saunders Aquatic Center. The Bearcat men defeated the Seahawks 203-92 while the women took a 192-105 decision. Binghamton had nine women and 12 men honored before the meet during the program’s annual Senior Day ceremony. Binghamton Swimming & Diving Teams Ready for America East Championships
VESTAL, N.Y, — The Binghamton swimming & diving teams travel to the America East Championships, which will be held Wednesday-Saturday. For the first time ever, the meet will be hosted by Virginia Military Institute (VMI). On the men’s side, the Bearcats return three defending individual champions and all four members of last season’s winning 4×800 free relay team. The Binghamton Black Bears have released their full upcoming 2024-2025 regular-season schedule. The Binghamton Black Bears' title defense will begin on October 11 on the road at the Watertown Wolves before hosting the Wolves one day later on Saturday. Ponies Fall After Hartford’s Go-Ahead Grand Slam in Extras
BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – The Binghamton Rumble Ponies (2-6, 37-38) fell to the Hartford Yard Goats, 12-9, after Warming Bernabel’s go-ahead grand slam in the 10th inning. The Ponies had a ferocious comeback to force extra innings. Binghamton trailed three batters into the game and did not tie it, until Jeremiah Jackson belted a game-tying pinch-hit two-run home run on the first pitch he saw in the bottom of the ninth, which made it 8-8.
