Improvements For Greeley’s Delta Park Slated To Begin Next Month
Next month, big changes are expected to start for Greeley’s Delta Park. The Greeley Tribune reports the park’s new vision is set to include a shelter space, splash pads, a 10-foot-wide sidewalk, a playground, seating areas, more trees and other items. And on June 26, city officials hosted a ceremonial groundbreaking at the park as a prelude to the construction next month. The park has a final cost projected at $3 million, funded by the city and grants.

Three UNC baseball players have been named among the top 100 college prospects for the 2025 MLB Draft by D1 Baseball, with Luke Stevenson leading the trio at No. 11. Stevenson, a rising sophomore, impressed in his freshman year with a .284 batting average, 14 home runs, and 58 RBIs, showcasing his skills both offensively and defensively behind the plate. Left-handed pitcher Folger Boaz also made the list at No. 29, displaying potential as a top prospect before a season-ending injury. Additionally, right-hander Cameron Padgett was ranked at No. 94, set to potentially take on a larger role in the upcoming season under coach Scott Forbes.
