Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love is someone who is going to have a lot of eyes on him in 2024. After a stellar finish to the 2023 season, people want to see if he is for real as the next franchise quarterback in Green Bay or if it was just a strong eight-game fluke.

Jordan Love produced at a high clip over the last half of the regular season, helping the Packers make the playoffs. They destroyed the Dallas Cowboys during Super Wild Card Weekend before being defeated in the divisional round by the San Francisco 49ers.

Will the Packers build upon that success and become legitimate contenders in the NFC again? A lot of that will hinge on the performance of Jordan Love. If he continues his ascension, Green Bay will be a force to be reckoned with.

In the opinion of former NFL MVP Matt Ryan, the Utah State product will succeed in doing that. The Atlanta Falcons and Indianapolis Colts quarterback turned CBS analyst recently spoke about the outlook of Jordan Love. In Ryan’s opinion, big things are on the horizon.

“The space where he takes the next steps is just cleaning up the little things, down in and down out,” Ryan said, via Alex Strouf of ESPN Milwaukee. “I think that’s going to come with experience. Having all that film to watch from last year, just cleaning up some of the simple things. Being a little more consistent. If he can do that, the sky is the limit.” (H/T Packers Wire)

Ryan got an up close and personal look at Jordan Love and the Packers’ offense last season. In a loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in December, Ryan was part of the announcing team.

It was far from their best performance of the season, but the former MVP saw a lot that he liked. In the 34-20 loss, Jordan Love completed 29-of-39 attempts for 284 yards and two touchdowns without an interception. But, he did lose one fumble.

“He made a couple throws during that game that reminded me so much of Aaron,” Ryan said. “The ability to move outside the pocket, to throw from off-platform situations and deliver the ball with the velocity and accuracy that he did, I was really impressed.”

Ryan is far from the only person high on what Jordan Love can be in the near future. The Packers may be the youngest team in the NFL again in 2024, but they are not to be taken lightly.
