The Packers took a big risk moving on from Aaron Rodgers for the 2020 first-round pick, but after one season it appears like they have the next great franchise quarterback.

After the great 2023 season in his first season as a starter, Love now has some high expectations for 2024. As a potential MVP candidate, expectations for Love can’t be too much higher.

“Love will have to deal with some variables in 2024, though. Rookie first-round pick Jordan Morgan is expected to earn a starting job along the offensive line, while Josh Jacobs will replace long-time running back Aaron Jones.”

There’s a lot to like about Jordan Love’s ability to get even better next season, as in his first year he accomplished a lot statistically. In addition to his production, he also helped the Green Bay Packers win a playoff game on the road against the Dallas Cowboys.

While Love is a young player on the Packers, a lot of the weapons around him are also young with the potential to get better. As the Packers with Love and their young core grow, they could be a serious contender this season in the NFC.
