    Blue Ribbons induct three former players into Hall of Fame

    GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Three former players, who combined to win 13 Wisconsin State League championships, returned to Joannes Stadium on Thursday to be inducted into the team’s Hall of Fame.

    • MARK ZERATSKY (1984-1998) – Zeratsky spent 15 seasons with Green Bay and was a part of winning five Wisconsin State League Championships. A graduate of Ashwaubenon High School, Zeratsky was inducted into the WSL Hall of Fame in 2012, joining his father, Dick (2010), and his brother, Dan (2016).
    • MARK HINSKE (1979-1981) – The Wisconsin State League’s Most Valuable Player in 1977, after hitting .416 for Menasha, Hinske joined the Blue Ribbons in 1979 and spent three seasons with the club, winning a pair of State League championships. An outfielder, who led the league in runs scored for four consecutive seasons from 1977-1980, Hinske was inducted into the WSL Hall of Fame in 2010.
    • TROY COTA (1981-1999) – A left-hander who pitched for the Blue Ribbons, Sultans and Billy’s, Cota is the Ribbons’ all-time leader in wins, with 110, and also ranks among the team leaders in strikeouts and innings pitched. Cota was three-time WSL Pitcher of the Year, and the Rookie of the Year in 1981, who helped Green Bay to six Wisconsin State League Championships.
