Packers Christian Watson Has Plenty of Fantasy Football Value

As we get ready for the fantasy football season, who is the biggest value player for the Green Bay Packers? It could be wide receiver Christian Watson.

With fantasy football leagues starting up in the next few weeks before the NFL kicks into gear, owners are trying to figure out who are some of the best value picks for their teams. One of the teams that owners will be targeting is the Green Bay Packers.

Due to the emergence of Jordan Love in 2023, the Packers could be one of the best offenses in the league in 2024. With that being said, high-scoring offenses provide a lot of fantasy football value, and people will be trying to pick up weapons on the Packers.

Recently, Bleacher Report spoke about who was the best value pick on the Packers in fantasy. Their choice was wide receiver Christian Watson, here’s what they had to say.

WR Christian Watson (ADP: WR44)

When healthy, Watson has displayed legitimate fantasy WR1 upside, although hamstring injuries have cost him 11 games over two seasons. Watson has reportedly spent the offseason training to avoid a repeat of those injuries in 2024. If he can stay on the field, Watson will easily out-produce his eighth-round asking price.

For an 8th round pick, Christian Watson has a ton of value with the upside of the Packers coming into the season. Injuries have certainly slowed down Watson in his first two seasons in the league, but he has been able to total 12 receiving touchdowns in 23 games played.

If Watson can stay healthy, he could easily catch double-digit touchdowns for the Packers in 2024 with their expected offense. With injury concerns, Watson could become a Top-50 fantasy player if he can stay on the field, but that’s a big if.

Hopefully, for the Packers and potentially fantasy owners, Watson is poised for a healthy breakout year.
