The Green Bay Packers have their franchise quarterback locked down! After a successful season, Jordan Love was rewarded with a four-year contract worth $220 million. That makes him the highest-paid QB in NFL history.

Everyone knew this was coming, especially after Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa got his own contract. However, that did not stop people from noticing the astronomical price tag Love has.

Unsurprisingly, more than a few people are calling this an overpay for the Packers. The argument is that Love only played one good season, and yet he's on top of the contract leaderboard now.

"He has like 7 good games lol," @BSarrX said.

"Remember when everyone pitched a fit when Lamar asked for 50 mil per season after winning an MVP," said @FlockCwood.

Other fans trolled Jordan Love by reminding him of how their playoff run ended.

Love had his first full season as a starter in 2023 after Aaron Rodgers' departure. It was rough at first, but Love was able to find his footing eventually. He finished the season with 4,159 passing yards and 32 touchdowns to just 11 interceptions.

More importantly, Love got the Packers to the Divisional Round. Despite it ending on an interception, the quarterback played as solid as you can expect from a first-year starter.

Love and the Packers will look to prove their doubters wrong. Will they be successful?
