One former member of the Green Bay Packers still is available on the open market with the 2024 season quickly approaching.

Former Packers edge rusher Justin Hollins appeared in 10 games overall for Green Bay over the last two years and now is a free agent. It wouldn't be surprising to see him land with a team soon and he reportedly is working out with the Dallas Cowboys, according to Pro Football Talk's Charean Williams.

"Cowboys defensive end Sam Williams tore the anterior cruciate and the medial collateral ligaments in his left knee during Sunday’s practice. He will undergo season-ending surgery to repair the damage," Williams said. "That leaves a void for the team behind DeMarcus Lawrence and Micah Parsons. Not surprisingly, the Cowboys will workout some pass rushers Thursday, including veteran Carl Lawson, Todd Archer of ESPN reports.

"He played only six games last season for the Jets, making five tackles with no sacks and no quarterback hits. But Lawson had 27 sacks in the previous five seasons. Update10:30 P.M. ET: Nick Eatman of the team website reports that Shaka Toney, Al-Quadin Muhammad, and Justin Hollins are the other pass rushers the Cowboys will workout."

Hollins is a five-year National Football League veteran and has seen time with the Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Rams, Packers, New York Giants, and Los Angeles Chargers.

Maybe he will end up finding a new opportunity soon with one of the top contenders in the NFC.
