United Way Open Golf Tournament hosts Green Hill Country Club

United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore(UWLES) recently (May 3, 2024) hosted their Annual United Way Open Golf Tournament, bringing golfers and supporters from the Lower Eastern Shore for a fun day on the links! This event raised over 15k to support UWLES direct programs and their nonprofit partners who provide essential resources across Dorchester, Somerset, Wicomico and Worcester counties, impacting 1 in 3 neighbors annually.

The following teams were awarded prizes: Top 3 Net Score Teams: First place – Avery Hall Insurance, second place – BBSI, and third Place – Delmarva Power, Top 3 Gross Score Teams: First place – Pohanka Hyundai of Salisbury, Second place – UMES, and Second place – Holloway Funeral Home.
