Police: Bennington County man assaulted driver he says sped past house
A Bennington County man allegedly attacked a man because he was driving too fast outside his home. Vermont State Police responded to an incident on Pine Ridge Drive in Pownal on Tuesday just before 6:15 p.m. Douglas Peltier, 47, is accused of confronting the 67-year-old man, who is also from Pownal, as he drove by his residence.
