IOWA CITY, Iowa-- The Hawkeyes are looking more athletic than they have in the past few seasons and freshman Chris Tadjo is one of the reasons. The 6-foot-8 225-pound athlete committed to Iowa last September and didn't waver. Tadjo has been all over the map with his basketball journey. From Canada to Mexico and to the United States, Iowa is the place that felt like home. More importantly for him, it was the place that truly wanted him.
David’s Morning Forecast - Spotty showers, a cooler Saturday
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Scattered heavy downpours overnight decreased to a few spotty showers by early Saturday. Those showers mainly over portions of western Iowa, just to the east of the Omaha metro. A few spotty showers will continue through the morning hours, though coverage should continue to decrease. Cloudy skies remain over the metro, though there have been a few breaks in the clouds out toward Lincoln. Generally cloudy skies will likely stick around for most of the day, though any rain that lingers should be spotty and on the light side. Generally dry conditions are expected for most of the day outside of those spotty showers. The clouds and spotty showers will help to keep things quite mild for July, with afternoon highs only topping out in the mid-70s, more than 10 degrees below average for mid-July.

Four vehicle accident reported in Grundy County
Yesterday about 4:15pm the Iowa State Patrol was called out on the report of a four vehicle accident in the westbound lane of Highway 175 one half mile east of Grundy Center. A Ford Edge driven by 45-year-old Amy Jo Morris of Grundy Center was traveling westbound on 175 when she approached a construction zone where several vehicles were stopped. A chain reaction crash then took place as Morris ran into the back of a Ford Edge driven by 62-year-old Katherine Dvorak of Voorhies.
