The Marco’s Pizza restaurant in the South Riding/Chantilly area of southern Loudoun has closed its doors for good. The announcement was made today via social media. “It is with a heavy heart I inform you that Marco’s Pizza in South Riding has permanently closed for business as of yesterday,” co-owner Chris Browne wrote. “It has been a pleasure serving the community over the last seven years. Unfortunately, we were just unable to keep up with rising costs and have reached a point where staying in business has become unsustainable.”

4 wounded in Rockville stabbing
Four people were wounded in a stabbing in Rockville last night. Rockville City police responded to a report of an assault near the intersection of Dawson Avenue and Upton Street at 9:40 PM. Officers arriving at the scene encountered a large crowd of people, and noticed trails of blood on the ground. Witnesses reported that a stabbing had taken place. Officers attempted to locate the victims at the scene, but found no one. At least one K-9 unit was called in to assist.
US court jails Marine for performing Nazi salute during 2021 Capitol attack
The US District Court for the District of Columbia sentenced a former Marine Tyler Dykes on Friday to nearly five years in prison for assaulting police officers during the January 6 Capitol attack.
