Indians fan Dust Devils, Spokane leans on pitcher Connor Staine
The Spokane Indians shut out the Eugene Emeralds again 2-0 Thursday in front of a large Avista Stadium crowd on the Fourth of July. Spokane's starting pitcher Connor Staine threw 12 strikeouts and only gave up one hit in seven innings pitched. Dyan Jorge drove in a run and picked up a run himself in the fifth inning as that's all the Indians needed to beat the Dust Devils.
