Officials urge caution as fires strain air resources in Washington, Oregon
YAKIMA COUNTY, Wash. — Public Lands Commissioner Hilary Franz toured the site of the Black Canyon Fire Friday and gave a briefing on the state of the fire season so far. According to Franz, the state has more resources to fight fires and hasn't necessarily seen an unusual number of fires so far this year, but other factors have put a strain on the people and tools available to fight them.

Five arrested on felony drug charges after cocaine bust in Coeur d’Alene
COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho - Five men were arrested on felony drug charges after a search uncovered large quantities of cocaine and other substances in Coeur d’Alene. According to the Coeur d’Alene Police Department, the Community Action Team, Opioid Task Force, and the combined CDAPD/KCSO SWAT team served a search warrant and several arrest warrants at an apartment in the 4200 block of West Trafford Lane, at Carrington Place Apartments.
