FAULKNER COUNTY, Ark — Many people in Arkansas have had a firsthand experience with floodwaters, especially the people living in Faulkner County. The recent heavy rains have damaged homes and businesses in the area and caused several roads to have to close until the rain subsided. Though those roads and streets have reopened, the damage that was left behind can be difficult to repair and some insurance policies may not cover the costs.

He caught it earlier this week, just upriver of Jenkins Fishing Service dock in Calico Rock. The water was in perfect shape at this time, but by midweek, flooding in north Arkansas had caused the river at Calico Rock to rise to 18 feet. In other spots, overflowing water wrecked some trout docks and caused significant damage.
