    OBITUARY: Dixie R. Morgan

    Dixie R. Morgan, 88, of Greenbrier, passed from this life on Monday, July 15, 2024 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.

    Mrs. Morgan was born March 24, 1936, in Red Boiling Springs, to the late Ozie and Ruby Coons McCarter.

    She was a retired customer service representative with American General Insurance, and was a member of Robertson County Church of Christ. Mrs. Morgan loved crocheting and she loved all her nieces and nephews. She was a very kind, sweet, and humble person.

    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Homer Lee Morgan, and by her siblings: Robert McCarter, Jack McCarter, Raymond McCarter, and Doris E. Dorris.

    Mrs. Morgan is survived by her sisters-in-law: Audrey McCarter of Mt. Juliet and Margaret McCarter of Springfield, and by many nieces and nephews.

    Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 20th at 11:00 a.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Brother Rob Caton officiating. Interment will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 20th in the Roark Cemetery in Lafayette, with her nephews serving as pallbearers.
