    Sheriff: Greene Co. man arrested after Internet Crimes Against Children investigation

    GREENEVILLE, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Greene County Sheriff’s Department arrested a man on Wednesday after an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigation, according to a release from the sheriff’s office.

    Marcus Earnest Johnson, 41, of Greeneville, was arrested in his residence on Wednesday for the alleged sexual exploitation of a minor.

    An ICAC investigation began following a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) about the upload of child sexual abuse material, the release said.

    Johnson is being held at the Greene County Detention Center under a $125,000 bond. He is set to appear in court on Friday.
