According to Circus Smirkus , their mission is to promote the skills, culture, and traditions of the traveling circus, and inspire kids to engage in life-changing adventures in the circus arts. Circus Smirkus has been performing since 1987 and is the only tented traveling youth circus in the U.S.

This award-winning circus consists of around 80 people and launches its Big Top in around 20 New England towns every summer, performing to approximately 42,000 patrons each year.

Circus Smirkus will be performing in Greenfield at the Franklin County Fairgrounds on the following dates and times:

    • Sunday, July 21st at 11:00 a.m.
    • Sunday, July 21st at 5:00 p.m.
    • Monday, July 22nd at 1:00 p.m.
    • Monday, July 22nd at 6:00 p.m.

The show will feature an array of circus arts, such as aerials, acrobatics, juggling, and clowning with a display of costumes, and many other surprises. This show is called The Imaginarium, which is the story of a magical toy shop that comes to life with tumbling teddy bears, high-flying marionettes, and a mischievous Jack-in-the-Box.

It’s important to note that all online ticket sales closed four hours before showtime. Tickets might still be available at the ticket booth on-site beginning one hour before the show. If you can’t make these performances, they will be in Waltham at the end of July.
