'It's going to be incredible'; Jeffboat finally has a developer for multibillion-dollar redevelopment
JEFFERSONVILLE, Indiana — A prime piece of real estate along the Ohio River in southern Indiana is one step closer to being redeveloped. Jeffersonville Mayor Mike Moore said the American Commercial Barge Lines (ACBL), which owns the nearly 100-acre property, has selected Thrive Companies, an Ohio-based developer, to lead development of the historic Jeffboat property.

West Nile Virus in mosquitoes found in new Louisville zip codes
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Louisville residents should be on the lookout for West Nile Virus in more Louisville locations. Even though no human cases have been reported, the Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness said the virus is now being found in the Portland, Downtown Louisville, and Churchill Downs areas, or 40202, 40212 and 40215 zip codes, should take extra precautions against the virus. For safety measures, mosquito fogging took place earlier in the week to slow the insect population down.
Power restored to Dosker Manor nearly 24 hours after Thursday afternoon outage
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Power has been restored to the Dosker Manor housing complex on Friday, after it went out Thursday afternoon. A news release Friday morning from the Louisville Metro Housing Authority LMHA said maintenance crews responded to Building C at the complex after the power went out around 4 p.m. Thursday.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Jefferson County Clerk's Offices were closed for the fourth straight day on Friday as the office worked to recover from a Russian ransomware attack.
