Nipro helping to bring an economic boom to Greenville

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — Foreign businesses like Nipro are coming to Greenville. North Carolina continues to be ranked as one of the top states to do business in the nation. Pitt County is looking for businesses to come in to help grow the city.

“The county purchased this beautiful piece of property several years ago, that vision to recruit a strong, successful advanced manufacturing industry that would help secure Pitt County as the jobs generator and business hub in the east,” Vice Chair of Pitt County Board of Commissioners Chris Nunnally said.

Nipro will bring more than 230 jobs to Greenville, and between them and the other new foreign company, Boviet, there will be more than 1,100 jobs created.
