The Upstate is full of talented high school football quarterbacks. Here’s a chance for fans to pick the best. Multiple votes are allowed. Polls will close at 5 p.m. Friday.

The 10 candidates are listed in alphabetical order.

Colten Bagwell, Wren : Bagwell accounted for 2,700 yards from scrimmage (1,534 passing and 1,166 rushing) and a combined 28 touchdowns last season. Wren (6-6) went 4-1 in Region 2-AAA and averaged 37.6 points.

Brandon Cunningham, T.L. Hanna: Cunningham is a dual threat who operated Hanna’s potent Wing-T offense to a 10-2 record and 42.9 points per game. He showed his sprinter speed with an 80-yard TD run in the playoffs against Dutch Fork.

Bryson Drummond, Mountain View: Drummond last season led Greenville (10-4) to the Class AAAA Upper State title game, a 42-35 loss to state champ Westside. Drummond finished with 2,531 yards and 23 touchdowns.

Jayvon Gilmore, Gaffney: Gilmore is the state’s No. 1 quarterback for the 2026 class, according to 247Sports, and has committed to Arkansas. He is a transfer from SCISA Ben Lippen, where he passed for 1,767 yards and 27 touchdowns.

Tucker Hendrix, Christ Church: Hendrix passed for 2,803 yards and 43 touchdowns in leading Christ Church (13-2) to the Class A state championship. He will try to duplicate those numbers in Class AAA after reclassification.

Lincoln Huskey, Boiling Springs: Huskey passed for 1,701 yards with 14 touchdowns for the Bulldogs (4-7) and should be one of the team’s leading rushers, as he showed down the stretch.

TJ Morris, Woodruff: Morris really turned it on for Woodruff (4-7) down the stretch with 1,206 passing yards and 14 touchdowns, more than half his production for the season, in the last four games.

Jordan Sink, Woodmont: Sink passed for 1,873 yards with 16 touchdowns for Woodmont (5-6) in a difficult Region 1-AAAA that features the likes of T.L. Hanna, J.L. Mann and Hillcrest.

Kalab Sutton, Hillcrest: Sutton passed for 2,030 yards with 24 touchdowns and also ran for 482 yards and eight TDs. The former transfer got more and more comfortable with his new team and led Hillcrest to a 10-3 record.

Cutter Woods, Westside: Woods led Westside to the Class AAAA state championship last season as a junior and is committed to South Carolina. He passed for 3,915 yards and 42 touchdowns.
