Popular California Panini and Super Food Restaurant Opening in Tucson

Being able to find quality, healthy food while on the go isn’t always the easiest thing to do. Quickly prepared food isn’t always the best, and the pre-packaged stuff you find at grocery stores is often of limited quality (not to mention, once again, it isn’t always the healthiest). However, Tucson is set to welcome a new brand to the healthy food space, as the popular Vitality Bowls is opening a new location in town, and visitors can take advantage of the news during a grand opening event. 

Vitality Bowls is all about serving up quality, healthy foods packed into a bowl or served in the form of a panini or smoothie. Nothing served at the restaurants uses any kind of fillers or artificial preservatives, to help produce an exceptional taste that doesn’t pack on hidden calories. The very first Vitality Bowls opened in California just over a decade ago, though it didn’t begin franchising until 2014. Technically, the restaurant falls into the “fast casual” space, though it is different from many of the quick-order, quick-departure restaurants. It very much has a similar feel to other smoothie shops you might have visited in the past, only at Vitality Bowls you can customize your own healthy food bowl or sandwich.

The new Tucson location is at 7155 East Tanque Verde Road (Suite C112). This is in addition to the recently launched 2959 North Swan Road. If you don’t live near the Catalina Foothills, heading up North Swan isn’t always the easiest to do, so East Tanque Verde Road may give you an additional option. With a set opening date of Friday, August 9, the restaurant will host a special event, with customers receiving buy-one get-one half off. 

There is additional news coming if you live in Oro Valley or off of North Oracle, as another location will open here in the near future (though no exact dates have yet been given). 

If you have yet to visit the current Vitality Bowl location, some of the most popular menu items include the Beach Bowl (organic coconut blend), Vitality Bowl (organic acai, bananas, strawberries with granola, honey and goji berries), and the Dragon Bowl (pitaya, mango peach juice, coconut milk, bananas, pineapple, raspberries, kiwi, almonds, organic goji berries, bee pollen, and honey). Sandwich options include Power Panini (pesto, dijon, roasted tomato, greens, mozzarella, and chicken), and the PB & Chain Jam Toast (whole grain toast, peanut butter, sliced bananas, strawberry jam, chia seeds, organic granola)
