Video: 2 Illinois Dogs Tied the Knot
On the South Side of Chicago, two dogs proved that it's more than puppy love as they got married on Saturday. About a year ago Comedian Gabriel Iglesias threw a $100,000 Quinceañera for his chihuahua. As a dog lover, I am no stranger to spoiling dogs. However, I think we can all agree that shelling out $100,000 for a dog party is too far. But hey, if you have the money, how you spend it is your business. Back in 2018 actress Sofia Vergara put together a huge birthday party for her son's dog. So, I guess this is a thing and anything is paws-ible.

Trash or Treasure: Is This the Best Antique Mall in Indiana?
Indiana is chock-full of places to enjoy antiquing or shopping for vintage goodies, but according to some, one location serves as a prime hunting ground. As a longtime Star Wars fan, I'm always looking for new places to browse for vintage collectibles. Most recently, I recently secured an original Kenner "snow speeder" from Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, that was in pretty rough shape. I had to repair a few broken pieces, replace the stickers, and even order a couple of new parts. But with a little elbow grease, I soon had it restored to it's original, or at least, near original condition. It was a fun project.
Variety Open Mic Celebrates One year Anniversary
After a full year of Open Mics, the popular Variety Open Mic with Sue and Georgia has reached it’s one year anniversary. The Pandemic hit the arts and artists hard. One of those people affected, was Georgia Fox Hatfield and The Fox Gallery. After six years in business, the Fox Gallery was forced to close it’s doors in November of 2020. In 2023 Fox Gallery curated an art show at the Sip Coffee House, and Georgia Fox Hatfield’s artwork is now online as a result. Georgia was known for hosting Friday Night Open Mics every week at the Fox Gallery. So the ability to host her weekly Open Mics was halted, until now!
