Attendance was down from what was recently reported according to Jane Carpenter, but everyone seemed to enjoy the meal and bingo.
Bingo was called by Elizabeth Neason. Doug Podell and Wilma Lee had the winning cards for the day. The first game went to Doug Podell and Gayla Gambini, the second to Wilma Lee, the third to Doug and Wilma, the fourth to me, the fifth to Doug and Wilma, and the blackout went to Ann Brown. Congratulations to everyone.
Thornton Homecoming has come and gone for another year. It was nice to see Mary Lou (Kilpatrick) Coronado of Oregon, and Gene Caldwell of Tyler as our queen and king this year.
The menu for Thursday, June 20, will be sliced turkey breast, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, wheat bread, chocolate pudding, and tea or milk.
They hope to see all of you and others next week at the center.
