Logan Ip Featured in World Lacrosse’s LacrosseU Series
Gil Talbot Men’s Lacrosse 7/15/2024 3:17:00 PM CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard men’s lacrosse and rising junior midfielder, Logan Ip , were recently featured in World Lacrosse’s new feature story series, LacrosseU. The series highlights different NCAA student-athletes who have competed for different nations at World Lacrosse events. Ip last competed for Team Hong Kong at the 2023 World Lacrosse Championships. Ip, who collected 23 points on 15 goals and eight assists in seven games at the Championship in San Diego earned a spot on the All-World team for his efforts. Rahanis Park Open Celebrates 20th Anniversary
Athletes from around the area came down to Rahanis to compete in the Open, which was celebrating its 20th year. Robert Parris is BCAT’s Sports and Features Reporter. Robert first got involved with BCAT in January 2016 as a volunteer news reporter. Throughout the year, as a volunteer, he was busy developing his technical skills at the studio and his ENG skills in the field. In the summer of 2017, Robert joined the team full-time. He quickly settled into his role, providing all of the production support for our news programs, as well as providing weekly sports highlights. Robert also produces a weekly feature for BNEWS, as well as a monthly show called, BNEWS Sports Hub, and BCAT’s Game of the Week.

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association revealed the All-Academic honors for the 2023-24 collegiate season, as both Harvard track & field teams placed in the top-30 of the All-Academic Team rankings, while 24 student-athletes garnered All-Academic Athlete honors from the USTFCCCA.

Wilmington Little League To Hold Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser On August 12
WILMINGTON, MA — The 2024 Wilmington Little League’s Annual Golf Tournament will take place on Monday, August 12, 2024 at the Four Oaks Golf Club in Dracut. The event begins at 7:30am with a shotgun start. Check-in begins at 6:45am. The format is 4-person team, scramble. The cost is $540 per foursome and it includes green fees, cart, a continental breakfast, and lunch. There will also be raffle prizes, closest to the pin contests, and longest drive contests.
