Taylor of North Andover showcased an extraordinary performance during the Hockey Night in Boston Girls Major Showcase, achieving five shutouts in five preliminary games, a feat unmatched by any other goalie in the tournament. Allowing only two goals, she propelled her Mass. Public/Catholic team to the semifinals. As she enters her senior season at North Andover High, Taylor is celebrated as a three-time Eagle-Tribune All-Star for her contributions to the Haverhill/Pentucket/North Andover hockey team.

Man dies after falling onto third rail at MBTA's Park Street Station
A man is dead after falling onto the electrified third rail at the MBTA’s Park Street station, transit officials tell Boston 25. An initial investigation revealed the man appeared to be impaired or under the influence of some intoxicant when he tumbled into the put of a southbound Red Line platform shortly before noon, MTBA Transit Police Superintendent Richard Sullivan said. The man was pronounced deceased at the station. While transit police are investigating the incident, it does not appear suspicious, police said.

Cambridge brewery shutting its doors in December after 35 years in business
When Cambridge Brewing Company opened in 1989, there were three beers on the menu. Now, as the brewery prepares to close on Dec. 20, it has nearly two dozen. The brewery announced its impending closure in an Instagram post on Saturday. While the post does not provide a reason for the closure, owner Phil Bannatyne told The Boston Globe he wanted to retire.
