The family, which isn’t going to be publicly identified until Tuesday, took part in a competitive geocaching event and found a genie lamp hidden behind King’s Chef Diner in downtown Colorado Springs. Cheesman Street Residences affordable housing project breaks ground, reservations to begin in December
The Cheesman Street Residences affordable housing project has broken ground with home prices to start at $385,000, half the average price of a home in Erie. Erie and the developer, Vertikal, will make 35 affordable housing units in the northeast corner of Cheesman Street and County Line Road. The development will offer five different housing types ranging from 900-1,500 square feet with 2- and 3-bedroom options. Reservations for the homes will start Dec. 1, with move-ins to begin in 2025.
