Multiple agencies perform prescribed burn at Palo Duro Water District
HANSFORD COUNTY, Texas (KFDA) - Several agencies are working together for a nearly 1,000 acre prescribed burn at the Palo Duro Water District outside of Spearman. “These prescribed fires we’re doing, just like you go to the doctor and say, ‘I have an ailment or an issue of some sort.’ They’re going to write a prescription. We’re doing that same thing for the land,” said State Coordinator for Pheasants and Quail Forever Thomas Janke.
