    Guilford business owner pleads guilty to tax charges

    GUILFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — The owner of a Guilford business pled guilty to tax charges on Thursday.

    Man arrested in Meriden after search of property with violent past

    Michelle Ann Gilson, 38, co-owned and co-operated B&M Package Solutions, Inc. and formerly owned and operated Epic Empirez, Inc.. In court, Gilson admitted she did not pay the withheld employee taxes as well as the employers’ share of FICA taxes for multiple quarters from 2017 to 2022.

    As a result, Gilson has agreed to pay approximately $1,407,831 in restitution to the IRS. She faces a maximum term of imprisonment of five years for her crimes and is set to be sentenced in October.
