Auburn's Research Station Moves Forward In Orange Beach
The upcoming Orange Beach City Council meeting might lead to an agreement for a new research center in Terry Cove. The city and Auburn University appear to finally be ready to move forward with the Gulf Coast Engineering Research Station on a city parcel on Terry Cove that currently has the dog park on the northern part of the parcel.

Several cities announce changes to garbage pick-up due to holiday
MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Due to the Independence Day holiday, several area cities have announced changes for residents whose normal garbage collection day is on Thursday. In Mobile, trash and garbage pickup will not run on Thursday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. The makeup day for garbage is Saturday, July 6. There is no makeup day for trash.
